We fell in love with this copper-colored guinea pig the moment we saw her up for adoption in the local Petco. The previous owner had kept her with a male and thought she was pregnant and didn't want her... We took her and she was pregnant and she gave birth on Charlotte's birthday - two females and one male - A, B, and C. I know that if we had given them names, we had gotten too attached to them. Six guinea pigs was a lot to have around the house.

Pumpkin was tolerant of the pups but was glad I think to be once again a single GPigs with the others - Mellimac and Peanut.

She lived another two years and the vet did not know what she had that finally did her in. She is buried next to Sally, M&M, and Peanut, under the Indian Blanket flowers that grow there.
